Peer Review Process

MADROSATUNA : Jurnal Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah has been published electronically as an Open Journal System (OJS) since 2018 under the management of the Islamic Economic Law Study Program (Muamalah) IAILM Tasikmalaya. The Peer-Review Process in this journal begins with the accuracy of the fulfillment of author guidelines or article writing guidelines as well as review journal templates by the Board of Editors or editorial boards both internally and externally. Editors who already have a track record are tasked with carefully examining and ensuring that the articles under review meet the Author Guideline and Template Journal. The next stage of the editor is tasked with providing the assessment results by filling out the assessment result form / assessment form. Furthermore, the editor's team is then tasked with returning the article according to the results of the review from the Board of Editor while the article still does not meet the Author Guideline or Template Journal to be revised by the author.
In the process of review by the Editorial Team, also conducted a study related to similarity checking by using the Plagiarism check application as listed in the system journal. Articles that have met the requirements of the review process from the editor's team, then followed by a review process by reviewers. Editors are tasked with sending articles electronically to reviewers both internal and external reviewers.
Peer review processes conducted by internal reviewers and external reviewers are tasked with reviewing and assessing the substance of articles, assisting authors through comments and inputs related to both the state of arts and other relevant substance components. The review process is carried out using single blind review and gradually using double blind review. The ethical review process is carried out for the substance of articles, criticisms and inputs carried out objectively. Reviewers present clear views and feedback supported by clear arguments. Criticism of the author's personal conduct is unethical and out of place by reviewers during the review process of this journal.
Reviewers are tasked with identifying the relevance of previous relevant legal documents, concepts, theories and results of relevant studies that authors use to review and analyze. Reviewers are also tasked with identifying relevant reading sources or study results that have not been confirmed by the author.
The entire review process is done electronically. After the peer review process of reviewers is completed, then jurnal editors are tasked to decide which articles are worth publishing, taking into account the preliminary review results of the team of editors, the validity of articles from reviewers results, the usefulness and contribution of the substance of articles in the framework of the development of legal science for researchers, academics, and practitioners, especially with regard to the development of legal substances locally, nationally, and internationally. The final stage of peer reviewprocess is accepted and copyediting and publication.
