Abstract

This study aims to assess the level of parental involvement, supporting factors and inhibiting factors as well as parental involvement results in the parenting program. The method used is case study with qualitative approach. The results of this research are 1) Level of parental involvement TK Bimbim Cha Are at the level of the partnership, while PAUD Tunas Bangsa parent at the level of the citizen control. 2) parental involvement KB Bimbim Cha and PAUD Tunas Bangsa supporting factors are motivation to get education and child development, motivation to get solution from child development problem, teacher-friendly attitude toward parents, government appeals to involve parents in school activities, invitation to engage in parental education, learning themes that fit the needs of parents, environmental threats against children, and harmonious social relationships in the school environment. 3) parental involvement KB Bimbim Cha and PAUD Tunas Bangsa resistor factors are parental perceptions of the benefits parental education, parents limited time, parents job, busy educator of KB Bimbim Cha, limited time and location, and resource capabilities are still lacking. 4) The result of parental involvement in parenting education are improve the experience of educating children, a change in the positive behavior of parents and children, able to develop the mindset of children and parents, improve communication between parents, children and teachers.
